Rules & Regulations
1.) Entry Forms are available
from the Nacogdoches County Extension Office, area Family and Consumer
Sciences (formerly Home Economics) Teachers
and the Nacogdoches Exposition Center.
2.) A separate entry form including recipe (be sure you have included
the entire recipe—list of ingredients
with amounts and directions) must be submitted
with each entry. Entries not having a complete recipe
will not be eligible for judging.
3.) Only one (1) entry in two (2) categories will be accepted.
4.) All entries must be on a disposable tray and covered with clear
plastic wrap.
5.) All entries must be prepared by the exhibitor.
6.) Cookie entries must contain one half (1/2) dozen cookies.
7.) Mixes may not be used for all or any part of the recipe except
in the convenience foods category.
These entries may be cakes, cookies or
breads that include a commercial mix or convenience food as one
ingredient of the recipe. No box
mixes used alone will be accepted.
8.) Products requiring refrigeration cannot be entered.
9.) Baking entries will not be returned to the exhibitor.

AWARDS:
First (1st) through Sixth (6th) place ribbons will be given in Junior and Senior Divisions of each category.
SWEEPSTAKES ROSETTES WILL BE GIVEN IN JUNIOR AND SENIOR DIVISIONS
